Carpet Spot Cleaning
$15 first spot + $5 each additional spot
Targeted treatment and portable-machine extraction for small, localized spots on accessible carpeted areas.
Spot size and service limits
One spot may be up to approximately 2 ft × 2 ft. Multiple marks within that affected area count as one spot; separate affected areas count separately.
This add-on is not whole-room carpet cleaning. Large stains, widespread soiling, heavily soiled walkways, high-traffic areas, or numerous spots covering much of a room are not included.
Previous pet stains and active accidents
Residual stains from previous pet accidents may be treated only after all waste, fluids, and contaminated material have been fully removed and the area has been initially cleaned by the client.
Active human or animal bodily-waste cleanup is not offered, including urine, feces, vomit, blood, or other bodily fluids.
Results, safety, and exclusions
Complete stain or odor removal cannot be guaranteed. Results vary by stain type and age, carpet material and condition, prior treatments, discoloration, and fiber damage.
Service may be declined when treatment could damage the carpet or requires specialized or restorative methods. Flood damage, mold, hazardous contamination, whole-room extraction, and widespread or heavily soiled carpet are excluded.

Interior Refrigerator Cleaning
Interior add-on · $40
Thorough cleaning of normal household food residue, crumbs, spills, and buildup from accessible refrigerator and attached-freezer surfaces.
Food handling and attached freezer
Food may be moved one section at a time to a clean nearby surface and returned promptly. Food is not discarded unless the client specifically instructs it. Overcrowded refrigerators may need to be reduced or cleared before service.
The attached freezer is included for normal accessible cleaning. Manual defrosting and heavy ice or frost removal are not included.
Shelves, drawers, and inaccessible areas
Removable shelves, drawers, and bins may be cleaned separately when they can be safely and easily removed. Stuck, damaged, fragile, or tool-dependent components are cleaned in place when accessible.
Coils, mechanical components, vents requiring disassembly, and areas behind or beneath the appliance are excluded. The refrigerator is not pulled from the wall or disassembled.
Conditions and results
Significant mold, pest contamination, bodily fluids, extensive spoiled-food leakage, and other hazardous conditions are outside this standard add-on.
Permanent stains, discoloration, scratches, corrosion, damaged finishes, absorbed odors, and other pre-existing conditions may remain. Island Home Cleaning is not responsible for food already spoiled, leaking, improperly stored, or otherwise compromised before service.
Rewards and appreciation

No recurring schedule is required. Add-ons remain full price under every discount and reward.
Referral Reward
Share a cleaner you trust.
Receive 15% off one future qualifying base cleaning after a referred new household completes its first paid cleaning.
Referral terms
- The new client must identify the referring client before their first cleaning is completed.
- One reward is earned per new household. Self-referrals do not qualify.
- Rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and do not expire.
- A booking, deposit, cancellation, or no-show alone does not qualify.
Loyalty Reward
Five completed cleans, then 15% off.
After five qualifying completed paid cleanings, receive 15% off the base package on the next qualifying cleaning.
Virtual punch card terms
- Weekly, every-two-week, every-four-week, and occasional clients may participate.
- Progress and earned rewards do not expire.
- Every completed paid cleaning counts, including a discounted reward cleaning.
- Cancellations, no-shows, estimates, and unpaid services do not count.
Military Discount
Ongoing thanks for military households.
Eligible clients with valid qualifying military ID receive 5% off every qualifying base cleaning package.
Military eligibility and terms
- Active-duty, Guard, Reserve, veterans, retirees, spouses, and dependents with valid qualifying military ID may be eligible.
- The eligible ID holder may book or pay for the household cleaning.
- Military clients may still earn Referral and Loyalty Rewards.
- Add-ons remain full price.
One discount per appointment.
Referral and Loyalty Rewards cannot be combined with each other or another promotion. For eligible military clients, a 15% Referral or Loyalty Reward replaces the normal 5% Military Discount on that appointment; the discounts are not combined into 20%. Any unused earned reward remains available, and the ongoing 5% Military Discount resumes afterward.

Your furry friends are always welcome. Standard pet hair is included with normal cleaning. Excessive pet hair that requires significant additional time may require an adjusted quote or additional service. Active pet accidents and bodily waste are not serviced; eligible residual carpet stains may fall under the Carpet Spot Cleaning add-on.

Residential cleaning covers safely accessible household surfaces and normal cleaning conditions. Review these policies before booking so we can plan the right service for your home.
Heavy Buildup & Restoration-Level Cleaning+
Island Home Cleaning will make a reasonable effort to improve heavier buildup when the selected service includes that level of cleaning. Some conditions require specialized restoration, repair, or professional treatment beyond residential cleaning.
Extremely heavy or long-term buildup, permanent staining or discoloration, damaged surfaces, severe hard-water or mineral deposits, heavy grease, and similar conditions may not be completely removable. An affected area may be excluded when it cannot be safely or reasonably addressed. Complete restoration cannot be guaranteed.
Hazardous Materials & Biohazards+
Island Home Cleaning does not clean or handle hazardous, biohazardous, or potentially infectious materials, including blood or bodily fluids, human or animal waste, used needles or sharps, sewage, drug-related materials or residue, and unknown hazardous substances.
Affected areas will be skipped until the hazard has been safely removed and remediated by the client or a qualified professional. If an unexpected hazard is discovered, work in that area will stop and the client will be notified.
Mold & Mildew+
Island Home Cleaning is not a mold inspection or remediation service. Small amounts of ordinary surface mildew may be cleaned when they can be safely addressed with normal methods.
Significant, widespread, recurring, or suspected mold will not be disturbed. Professional assessment or remediation may be recommended. Removal or prevention is not guaranteed, and underlying moisture, ventilation, structural, or water-intrusion problems are outside the service scope.
Pest Infestations+
Island Home Cleaning may decline or stop work in areas with an active or significant pest infestation, extensive pest debris, nesting material, droppings, or contaminated surfaces that cannot be safely handled through normal residential cleaning.
Occasional household pests do not necessarily prevent service. Significant conditions may require pest control or specialized cleanup first. Island Home Cleaning does not provide pest-control treatment or apply pesticides.
Access, Height & Restricted Areas+
Cleaning is limited to areas that can be safely reached with normal residential equipment. High areas must be reachable from the floor or with a small 3-step ladder. Tall ladders are not used, and cleaners do not climb on furniture or countertops.
Furniture or items over approximately 20 pounds will not be moved. Areas blocked by heavy furniture, excessive belongings, fragile items, or other obstructions are cleaned only to the extent safely accessible.
Clutter & Home Preparation+
Your home does not need to be perfectly tidy, but clearing excessive clutter from floors, counters, and other surfaces allows more scheduled time to be spent cleaning.
Normal belongings may be worked around or small lightweight items shifted when reasonable. Extensive pickup, organizing, sorting, or relocating belongings is not included unless arranged in advance. Inaccessible areas may be skipped. Fragile, valuable, sentimental, or irreplaceable items should be safely stored before the appointment.
